I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time! I’ve always felt that putting some of my work online would be a good idea. It seems like a much better way to communicate to prospective customers that I have the skills and experience to tackle big database projects.

I have been developing Access database front-end solutions with SQL Server back-end support for over 23 years. In that time I’ve worked mostly for one company. They are a small company in Oldsmar, FL who repair airplane parts. They are FAA certified, and they pride themselves on the quality of their work.

When I first started I built a simple application that tracked their work orders from the time a unit was received to the time it was shipped back to the customer.

Eventually I expanded the project to also track their entire inventory, their work effort, part sales, human resources, and even some accounting. I’ve learned much about how businesses are run, how they exchange information with vendors and customers, and how to manage almost every aspect of operations.

This new site I’m working on will allow me to demonstrate many of my techniques. I have two goals in this endeavor: 1) to document some techniques for my own organization and reference; and 2) to demonstrate my skills and experience to potential new customers.

I hope you enjoy the site. Please contact me with questions and/or to inquire about hiring me for your next database application project.
